Since he was a child, Jonah has been listening, composing, and producing music. Jonah began playing music as a percussionist, later as a self-taught guitarist, classically trained vocalist, and has been teaching himself bass guitar. His primary musical influences include John Petrucci of Dream Theater, James Hetfield of Metallica, and Les Claypool of Primus.
He first begin releasing his own music online in 2012 under the name Solar Harmony. As his recording and production improved, so did his commitment to Solar Harmony. His first official single, “dEVIL” was released on February 16th, 2015. This was followed by “Hate Me,” and “the Color of Blood” in 2018.
After this release, “Conformist” was released in April of 2019. This was the first Solar Harmony release that really showcased its defining sound. With fifteen full length tracks, memorable guitar parts, and the harshest vocals ever attempted by Jonah it became the “staple” album. Though still mostly an underground project, this album was received well and gained Solar Harmony a larger following.
After Conformist, Jonah’s released the “Hallelujah” EP, including hit track “Crush the Serpent,” the first Solar Harmony song released with a music video.
After about a two year hiatus, Jonah released of the single “SHAME” along with a music video as part of the buildup for Solar Harmony’s most recent album, “Politically Correct” which was released in December of 2023.

Outside of Solar Harmony, Jonah operates the experimental project “DoveMoon,” where he writes and records music that doesn’t neatly fit into the Solar Harmony sound. There are two albums to date, both released in 2023.
