The Rev. Dcn. Jonah M. Saller, MSJ is the founder and host of the Mere Catholicity podcast. Founded in 2020, the podcast evolved from a primarily apologetic effort into an ecumenical movement focused on bringing the beauty and catholicity of Anglicanism into ecumenical and theological discussions. The Mere Catholicity movement is largely concerned with facilitating conversations across denominational boundaries in the pursuit of deeper unity between various churches.
Beyond internet content, Deacon Jonah serves in the Missionary Society of St. John the Evangelist (MSJ), a religious society resident in the Anglican Church in North America (ACNA). He is currently planting St. Patrick’s Anglican Mission in Maricopa, AZ and also serves part-time in the Reformed Episcopal Church under his Excellency, Bishop Ray Sutton and The Very Rev. Dr. Steven Rutt.
Deacon Jonah holds a degree in biblical studies and works as a classical educator teaching medieval history and physical education. He enjoys good books, tobacco pipes, writing music, and haiku.
